Are you a developer?

Are you a developer of a Web 2.0 Service? Do you want some extra exposure? Well drop us a line using the Contact Form, we’d love to hear from you.

At the moment we are looking for invites to closed betas as well as opportunities for extended features on the site. This will involve looking at not just the service but the motivation behind it, the people bulding it and the development process.

Please be aware at this stage that we will always give our true opinion of a service, no matter what. So only get involved if your prepared to take some contructive critiscism.

    Hi,

I am a newby in web 2.0. I am trying to find out what exactly web 2.0 is! I have visited so many comments of different web blogs/articles and I am totaly confused about web 2.0.

Actually I am confused about the development part of web 2.0.

    My understanding:
    1. Ajax should be used to develop a web 2.0 application if I want to use PHP.
    2. Design should be CSS based. Menu, Color, Content, Tables .. everything should be used CSS.
    3. Strong color should be used in design.
    4. Text should be bigger.
    5. There should be a RSS section.
    6. User will be responsible for data.(if so then in a CMS what is the responsiblity of Admin)

Please let me know what exactly web 2.0 is and if there are any misunderstanding in my knoledge. If so, Please correct me.

    Thanks in advance.
