Web 2.0 Blog Logo

About

The aim of this site is to demistify the Web 2.0. There seems to be a big buzz around this phrase and an equally large amount of misinformation, hopefully we can address some of that for the average man.

The authors that contribute to this site are mostly users of Web 2.0 services and in some cases part time developers. This gives a unique stance as we are outside the Web 2.0 bubble allowing us to comment objectively on the goings on. We’re not going to trawl out a load of spin, if somethings bad then we’ll tell you so, Web 2.0 or not.

We’re also well aware that there are many things that go into creating a Web 2.0 service so we will endeavour to provide a wide ranging view on things. From marketing, UIs and feature sets to the technologies behind them.
